Despite water's centrality to life, its vital conservation has been hindered by users' increasing disconnection to its sources through the invisible, technological management of its utilitarian distribution. If reawakening public cognition could lead to more progressive water preservation strategies, how can innovative design techniques, using water as a social catalyst within the built environment, contribute to a greater public awareness?
